| | music on Charlie's Angels The Movie | | I didn't expect the kind of music included on the soundtrack of this movie when I bought it. Although Charlie's Angels is based on a 70's hit show, I was expecting more modern music and women empowering songs on this film. Nevertheless, I found a good mix of modern and 70-80ish music. Modern tracks include Beyonce's Independent Women and Destiny's Child Dot. But my favorite pop entry was nonetheless Fatboy Slim's Ya Mama, the electro punk music which reminds me of their hilarious but very entertaining MTV for this music where all people on that music video were creating havoc when they heard music "push the tempo, put ya mama". If you haven't seen that, you miss half of your life already. And then the rest were all on the 70 to 80's era. But I do love them especially Turning Japanese by the vapors, the drums and electronic guitar song "turning japanishia" and Brandy by Looking Glass, a very light swaying love song which really keeps me in a light mood. I also like Tangerine Speedo by Caviar, the amazing male voice on that music. Unexpected but still good. | |
