| What do you eat in lunch..? | | Hey mylotters, what do you consume in your lunch?
In most countries, people use to take their staple food in their lunch.
My family eat boiled rice with various curries and sometimes chicken or mutton as my lunch..
What about you...? | |
| | Would you like to be alone at lunch, or join a group? | | At lunch of your work, are you always been a loner? Or you would join a group of two or more people to have lunch together? I always been alone myself. I don't like to go to the breakroom sitting with a bunch of people. I just simply go to my car, reading newspaper, or take a nap before I head back to work. Just occasionally, I would join a group of two people go out for lunch. How about you? | |

| What's for lunch? | | it is raining intermittently. I only have a few nuggets and seven eggs in the fridge. I would really like to have a good, hot meal. Going out though isn't advisable. That means I must settle with another omelet. Sigh! What about you? Having a decent lunch today? | |

| Stuffed Pumpkin for Lunch Tomorrow | | I bought a pumpkin in the market this morning - about 3lbs in weight. I decided to cook it in a way that I used to cook it when we lived on the farm.First, I am going to brown stew some pork in a rich gravy containing lots of gasrlic, onions and some pepper and SALT and a little light soy sauce. I will only half cook it or less. Actually as I am using th soy sauce I will not use salt.I cat the top off the pumpkin and keep. Clean out the pumpkin and deepen the cavity. Then I will fill the cavity with the browned pork and put the lid of the pumpkin on top and tie it down. Then bake in the over on medium heat until the pumpkin is soft and ready to be sliced. I will serve this with some white rice and a salad. Very easy and quick to prepare. So I am on a cooking roll? Have you cooked meat this way with pumpkin or done anything similar? | |
| | Do you pack your lunch for work every day? | | I recently started a full time job where I only have a 30 minute lunch break so I don't have time to run anywhere to buy lunch, not that I would if I could because I'd hate to spend that much money each and every day just to buy lunch. That's a waste. Also, we're supposed to have a chance to eat lunch with the children in our classroom, but that gets hectic and just isn't as possible as they claim it is so I've started to pack my lunch. So, I'm here to ask what you pack in your lunch. I've packed sandwiches, chips a drink and a snack since Wednesday and although I don't mind those items I know at some point I will tire of having the same old lunch. So, throw out some ideas! What do you pack for lunch? Leftovers? Whatever you can toss into a container? | |
