September 25, 2001 9:20 a.m.You probably missed it in the rush of news last week, but there was actually a report that someone in Pakistan had published in a newspaper there an offer of a reward to anyone who killed an American, any American.So I just thought I would write to let them know what an American is, so they would know when they found one.An American is English…or French, or Italian, Irish, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian or Greek. An American may also be African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or Pakistani, or Afghan.An American is Christian, or he could be Jewish, or Buddhist, or Muslim. In fact, there are more Muslims in America than in Afghanistan. The only difference is that in America they are free to worship as each of them choose.An American is also free to believe in no religion. I'm highly skeptical about True Love because no matter how much you love the other person, you seldom get true love in return. I have been in a relationship and have experienced this. I think that every person in this world is selfish enough to think about himslef than to step into other's business. Some say that love begins after marriage and some say that two people marry just for the sake of family and having kids. Is that the only purpose which love is meant to serve? I want to know your thoughts regarding this. Is it even worth to love someone more than your life when all it means is Killing Yourself day and night just for the sake of it? | |
| | Do you think Suicide is the best option? | | Daily news include some one or other attempting suicide or has suicide. Do u think that it is the best option to solve the life's problems? I think they are selfish because they don't think of their family which loves and cares about them. If they show that braveness in reasoning, then it will be good. What do U think? | |
| | Thoughts of suicide ....why? | | I always here of people trying to commit suicide. My question is why? I hear tremendously great stories about people who have had all types of problems and still mangaed to pull threw. I've heard the worst of the worst like people with all types of poverty problems, rape problems, decease problems, etc, and yet these people with these problems still make it trew and push on to life life to its fullest. So again my question is WHY? Why would you want to kill yourself? Another thing a person might not think of when they are thinking of these thoughts is that you might be hurting more people than you think by killing yourself. For example like families, friends people you dont even know who might admire you..

| | Smoking Kills! I Refuse | | Smoking really kills but technically it is a habit... If you want to save yourself from killing yourself, take the risk, learn from them. Smoking for almost a year or years of puffing is definitely hard to stop but if you intentionally want to stop from doing it? try to be positive. Its not killing but helping your need whether it is good or bad in you. keep this in mind, you know what your doing and it should be helping you not destroying the full you. | |
