| | Best and Worst baby products...must have or don't bother.... | | No matter if you are a new mom, aunt, grandma, or have just been around a baby, I'm sure you have an opinion as to what you think is the best or worst product ever made! I am looking for moms of ALL ages too. I think it will be really fun to see what the moms 50, 60 even 70 years ago couldn't live without and what you think about products today vs. products then.
being a new mom the products that I think I couldn't live without would be binkis, disposable diapers, WASHING machines!! ( I know the last one isn't REALLY a baby product but....)
I could do with out..Diaper Genies, and baby cologne is just the silliest invention I think that I have EVER seen!!
Stuff I really like...Bumbo seat, fisher price hedgehog (so cute)! I am sure that there are many more but I just can't think right now!! | |

| Have you seen the Fisher-Price Nativity Set? | | We bought a toy nativity set made my Fisher Price to put under our tree this year instead of our normal nativity set. This is because this year we have a one-year-old and he likes to touch everything. These pieces are made so that children can play with them and no harm done. So we'll use it for maybe a couple of years. | |

| Do You like Elmo? | | Meet 'Top Secret Elmo'

For a guy who has giggled, squawked, sung and shouted, Elmo sure is quiet these days.
Ten years after the original Elmo was the must-have toy, a new version called T.M.X. will make its appearance in the fall.
Fisher-Price
His latest incarnation is about to be introduced at Toy Fair, but only in a manner of speaking.
The toy industry will reveal at its annual trade show starting Feb. 12 that the new Elmo's name is T.M.X., a nod to his moniker Tickle Me Elmo, as well as his 10th birthday. The plush toy will cost about $40, compared with his previous recommended retail of $29.99. He will require six AA batteries (included). | |

| Online Christmas Shopping | | I am trying to find an online store that sells unique gifts for children. I want to get my nephew and daughter something very unique. Small stores are usually the best. I don't want to get them stuff made by major manufacturers such as Playschool, Fisher Price and so on. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. | |
| | WHAT BOOKS DID YOU LOVE AS A CHILD? | | I remembered reading Enid Blyton's books when I was a child. I think my mum bought it for us, or maybe it was some relatives handing it down to us, I can't recall which one. Them books are really entertaining, I remembered reading and imagining at the same time, it just drifts you apart from the reality until the last pages. I wonder where are the books now though...

| Fisher Price "Little People" Toy Sets | | Do you collect them for your child?
I am just starting to as my seven month old son was just given one of the sets as a christmas present. My sister collected them for her children and I thought tehy were really cute, so when my son got one a s apresent, I thought why not? Which do you think is the cutest set available? | |
| | Has anyone else had problems with Fisher Price toys? | | I had loads of Fisher Price stuff when I was a child, which I have now passed onto my baby, and it still works! Amazing! Some of it is 34 years old! But since my one year old was born we've bought here a few Fisher Price toys, and NONE of them have lasted more than a few weeks!!! She haqs not been any rougher with then than baby's normally are. They are age-appropriate. But they have just stopped working within weeks! We got her a Baby Piano for her birthday in November, and it now makes a horrible buzzing noise, and today I realised that one of the keys is no longer working! We also got her a 'Tree House Toy' for babies last year, which stopped working totally inexplicably within 1 week. Has anyone else experienced this? | |
