| Help! What is in for little girls? | | I am not sure what is popular for little girls these days. You see we hadn't had a little girl in our family for about 15 years. Four years ago my niece had a baby girl. Last year my brother had a little girl. In January my daughter had a girl. Then in June my other brother had another girl. We had not had a baby girl in 15 years when my great niece was born. My youngest daughter was the last girl born before that. When my daughters and oldest niece were little, they liked Stawberry Shortcake, My Little Pony, Cabbage Patch Dolls and Holly Hobbie. What is in style for them now? I know alot of little girls like Dora the Explorer, what else should I get them? I am getting my grand-daughter the computer games for learning for her age. She loves them. I also buy them books. What are the books that little girls like? We have always had lots of boys so that is what I am used to buying for. When I look at the stores there are so many new things for girls I have no idea what to buy. Please let me know what little girls want for Christmas.

"Damian is obsessed with me having another child," Liz told Marie Claire magazine. "He wants a girl named Daphne and a boy called Fred. He talks about it every day, saying 'Mummy, when you put Daphne in the school next door to mine, will Fred grow into my clothes?'"
This is really funny and I wondered if anyone out there with two kids had had similar conversations with their older child.
When I was pregnant my little girls future brother/sister had so many names that she wanted to call them over the 9 months. The most remembered were Darth Vader!, Princess Leia, Dora (the explorer), Sleeping Beauty (but then she changed her mind on that one as she wanted to be sleeping beauty!), and the last name before my son was born was Mario (from Super mario). she was very disappointed when she came to see us in the hospital and i said here's... | |
