| Are You A Christian? | | Are you a Christian? Do you consider yourself one? Or do you just consider yourself as a church goer or a religious fanatic? For me, Christianity is having a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ. Its not just a weekly or Sunday ritual that we do just so other people will look at us differently in a good manner. I consider myself as a Christian because I accept Christ as my God and Saviour. Plus I talk to him unscripted and sincerely. | |
| | Top Ten Books: Christian Living | | I am an avid reader and have been for a very long time. I have a wide variety of favorite genres however, my favorite genre would be Christian living. The reason I love this genre so much is that the authors who write in this category are able to connect on a personal level with individual readers on the topics that effect Christians everyday. I have compiled a list of my top ten favorite books in the Christian living category. They are as follows:10. Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller9. The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren8. Cure For The Common Life by Max Lucado7. What's So Amazing About Grace? by Phillip Yancey6. Come Thirsty by Max Lucado5. Facing Your Giants by Max Lucado4. Right People, Right Place, Right Plan: Discerning the Voice of God by Jentezen Franklin3. Wild At Heart by John Eldredge2. Life Wide Open by David Jeremiah1. Holier Than Thou: When Faith Becomes Toxic by Dr. Ergun CanerThere you have it....that's my top ten list. However, this barely scratches the surface of this vast genre. | | Top Ten Books: Christian Apologetics | | Many Christians know what they believe about their faith, God, jesus, and many other things. However, they have no clue as to why they believe the things they do. What would this world look like if Christians not only had firm convictions and beliefs, but also knew why they believed those things? That is the premise of Christian Apologetics; it's all about defending the faith. These books are, in my opinion, the best books on the subject of Apologetics in modern Christianity. What books would you list in your favorite on Apologetics?10. The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel 9. The Case for Faith by Lee Strobel8. More Than A Carpenter by Josh McDowell7. Jesus Among Other Gods by Ravi Zacharias6. What's So Great About Christianity? by Dinesh D'Souza5. Beyond Opinion by Ravi Zacharias4. The Reason for God: Belief in God in an Age of Skepticism by Timothy Keller3. Christian Apologetics by Norman Geisler2. Who Made God? by Ravi Zacharias and Norman Geisler1. Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis | |

It's become a custom, at least in america, for friends and dear ones to exchange gifts as a way of showing you care. I have friends who are of a different religion or not religious at all but we all still exchange gifts. So how about u? Do you celebrate it and buy gifts even if you are not Christian or religious? Is it even celebrated in your country? Do you have friends who are not christian and still celebrate it with u? | |

| what is christian belief | | christian belief is based upon Jesus as the son of God and the Messiah, christ. The word Messiah come from the Hebrew word meaning anointed one jesus as the Messiah was anointed by God as saviour of humanity, Jesus coming was the fulfillment of the messianic prophecies of the Old Testament. By asscepting the death and resurrection of Jesus you can be reconciled to God and thereby are offered salvation and the promise of eternal life.Christian believe that Jesus is God incarnate, true God and true man. jesus having become fully human, suffered the pains and temptations of a mortal man, but did not sin. As fully God he rose to life again according to the bible God raise him from the death. He is ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the father, and he will return one day for his saints. inspite of the hardship we can be confident that it wont be long I am antispating his return. | |
